Tormarton FC would like to update fans and followers of the club's current situation as we head into the 2025-26 season.
During the 2024-25 season, Samuel Jarman stepped down as first team manager of Tormarton FC and has now parted with the club in it's entirety, including all secretary responsibilities. The club would like to thank Sam for all of his efforts and his many years of service to the club as a player, manager and various committee roles.
Following Sam's departure, Owen Batchen was promoted from reserves team manager to first team manager with Mitchell Harrington assuming the role of player-manager for the reserve team, and Tormarton FC is delighted to confirm that Owen and Mitch will continue their roles as first team and reserve team manager, respectively. Owen and Mitch have the full backing of the committee as the club aims for the next level of success in the Bristol and District leagues.
"I would like to thank everyone at the club for their efforts and support as we look to go into this new season in a positive position. I would also like to thank Sam as well for putting this club in such a great position to push on from." - Owen Batchen.

Owen Batchen - First Team Manager and Club Secretary
Mitchell Harrington - Reserve Team Manager
Charlie Ross - Club Captain
Sandra King - Treasurer
Chris Cook
Tom Couch
Charlie Gregory
Ryan King
Jared Mould
The first committee meeting of the new season is scheduled for Tuesday 2nd September 2025.
Tormarton FC would like to thank our sponsors for the upcoming season:
Dave Benton Ltd (represented by Jack Benton)
James Ball Cars (represented by James Ball)
James Ball Cars were able to provide the club with a new third kit during the 2024-25 season, and Dave Benton Ltd have sponsored the club for a number of years and recently sponsored a new set of training jackets for new players. Cash injections from both sponsors have also allowed us to update equipment to cut and mark the home pitch.
We would also like to thank the Portcullis Hotel for providing food after every home game for our first team, reserve team and opposition last season.
We are now approaching the end of the pre-season schedule with league games set to commence on the first weekend of September. Starting in June, the club has played 7 matches with 3 more scheduled for the rest of August; pre-season has allowed us to give debuts to 12 new players across both first and reserve team squads. The club has picked up 3 wins and 2 draws from 7 games, scoring 11 goals.
Managers Owen and Mitch have said they are very happy with the situation the club find themselves in on the pitch and are looking forward to the new season.
“It's been a long pre-season and we have learnt a lot but now as we get closer to the start of the season, I just can't wait to get started." - Mitchell Harrington
